Use Research - Is It a Good Idea?

i often feel like really good teams kind of split up all the things that need to be done based on whose good it what. I have a particular way that i very much like working with external researchers when you can get them, which is, i don't like the idea of hiring somebody to learn all about my product and then letting them go away. So if you bring in an external usar researcher, which, you know, i think can be extremely useful, let have them actually guide you. Have them facilitate the research, but make sure that you are involved at every step of the way....
