I have really trained myself to look at everything that I do as an investment. Am I going to invest my time, my attention, my money, my effort and energy into this person? And there's different ways that we get paid. So how do you become a better networker? You just start being more useful, more generous, more grateful. Being a giver doesn't mean not having boundaries. It does not mean that just give away everything and don't ever ask for something.
