The Role of the Family
The old model of the family was based on the economic dependency of women on men and it tied men to children via women. Even though it was a very socially egalitarian relationship, economically it was massively not so. The feminist movement correctly identified that as the key goal, secure economic independence if you read Gloria Steinem or Margaret Mead. But we haven't replaced the old one for men. We've torn up both the old female script and the old male script, but we've provided a really new powerful female script which is expansionary and empowering.
