The Importance of Singing
There is no acapella singing anywhere in the Bible. Every single time anybody sings they take up instruments. In Revelation 4 the angels are saying they are praise to God and then when the lamb comes to the throne they pick up instruments and sing. But singing is always pictured as with the created physical cosmos drawn into the service of praise by the priests of the cosmos. It was in the temple on it's in heaven but it's not for us right now because the human voice is superior or something. Actually it all goes back down to Greek philosophy which says the material world is inferior and that's what lies behind it.
