The Different Types of Muscle Cells
cardiac muscles are an involuntary muscle in the sense that we can't really control, consciously control their contraction or their movement. They basically serve simply to keep blood pumping around the body by contracting the heart muscle. The next type of muscle is smooth muscle which is also not under conscious control and it's found within the walls of organs like the esophagus. Gluteal muscles, the final type are anchored by tenons to bones and are used to move the bones around. So hence the use for maintaining posture and locomotion and so on.
