The Scientific Analysis of Meaning Making

We have to come up with a way of rearticulating our worldview in which we can get back that sense of deep connectedness. We're starting to see how we can get an account of sacredness that can fit into the scientific worldview and fit us back into it. But there's something else now that's coming to the fore that we need to address, which is the structural functional analysis of meaning making. And we've seen this all the way along. The machinery of meaning making also is the machinery that is going awry when people are experiencing a sense of meaninglessness.
