Is It Suicide or Murder?

Sherlock Holmes was called to the scene of a suspected murder. The victim had been found dead in his dressing room with blood all over him. His wife and four children were also inside at the time, but they escaped unharmed. It is not clear whether it was done by someone outside or inside the house. But both sides have their reasons for believing that he may have committed suicide.
