Is It Better to Try to Speak the Local Language?
In addition to the loud talking, there's expecting everybody to understand in english. I personally think the way to go is always to try the local language. And i don't feel like i've ever been in a place where that was taken badly. Instead, especially if you're in smaller places, i think people are excited to to you make an effort to connect and to understand them in a very literal way.
