The Limits of Government in Switzerland

Switzerland was effectively until the 1970s on a gold standard. People are able to think far more in terms of the long term once they're able to accumulate capital and you know plan ahead. It becomes much harder for government to control wealth creation now that it's no longer really physical. In other words governments will have to compete for people, most likely we'll return to models of governance of reduced government.
