Is the Consciousness Fallible?

I think what our consciousness tells us about the world is fallible and in fact, wrong. But that's different from saying that the consciousness is fallible. As for the fact that it's first person, not third person, one of us significant that is. From a third person point of view, you can get plenty of evidence about when I'm conscious and what I'm conscious about. A lot of them can't be answered, so they're not real questions.
