The Importance of Imagination
I grew up in a world where that was very much possible and in fact, just a reality. I think there is also this notion that we talked about in the book of police being in our minds as a solution, not as a problem. So it requires us to divest financially, but also ideologically and emotionally from policing and punishment. It's hard for people to imagine something that is truly different.
