Turkey has been an increasingly unpredictable NATO ally for years under its President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. But recently, that is to say after his election win earlier this year in late May, Erdogan seems keen on repositioning Turkey's relationship with the West. And what evidence is there of a creature more like an enormous manatee that lived 40 million years ago and may have outweighed the blue whale by more than three times.
