If you hold a belief, it's very difficult, if not impossible, to see outside of it. Even your closest friends may share limiting beliefs that close off opportunities for you. A mortgage company was telling us we couldn't close on the house within a certain amount of time because it needed a new septic. But they allowed us to close without the septic being installed due to some quirks and how all the rules work.
