The Lord's Mercy in Deuteronomy
In 9.5 of the Bible, God says: "For your lifeblood, I will require a reckoning" And in 9.6 he repeats it again: "Whoever sheds the blood of man by man shall his blood be shed." It seems to me that for people to do justice, particularly against murderers, is godly and enacting God's own character.
