The Brown Rebellion

I'm keeping an eye on what I call the Brown rebellion. It got some attention this past year. The question is, will the Republican Party be able to capitalize on this and actually make serious gains and sustain them as a Democrat myself who's very critical of a Democratic Party. So we'll see what happens with that because that could really contribute to certain realignment. Since 9 11 Muslims have been a pretty reliable component of the Democratic Party coalition. They didn't always used to be that way. My parents voted for George W Bush, like many Muslims in 2000. There's an interesting opportunity here and people got to make choices about what they want to emphasize politically.
