Do the Irish People Get to Say What the Content of That Is?

I think we are actually talking about nationalism here, aren't we? I've never denied being an Irish nationalist. I'm very proud of being Irish. There's no rational reason you should be proud of how you're born. You didn't do anything for it. So there's a sense of national identity and belonging, but we have to say who gets to say then what the content of that is. This is really what the question is. Do the Irish people get to say what thecontent of it is? Or do self-elected, you know, oligarchic groups who are not accountable to anybody get to says what it is? And this is what people really think about.
