A Novel About Turkish Literature of the 20th Century
I want to talk with my imagination, with my ideal Ottoman decline novel rather than one particular place. My island of Mingaria is based on Greek island of what we today know as Crete. It was an Ottoman island, but I didn't want to set it in Crete because I just did not want to argue with old people as it happened in snow. There's also so much research truth that I always tell my readers for if you want to read Knights of Plague, read it with Google. Check Google, check everything and you'll be surprised.
