There's a lot of insecure stuff on the internet. Data bases just left open with default credentials, servers wide open and different services and ports that were not secured. It's pretty sad how easy it is to find vulnerabilities out there. After 50 minutes investigating a data base, most time unuoners send over a responsible disclosure email outlining the problem and how to fix it. Almost 50 different volunteers have joined on in the last five years. In that time, the foundation has filed coordinated vulnerable disclosures on over a million security issues out there on the internet.
