The evidence doesn't really sustain the idea that the British public are being ripped off by private companies. We could be running our grid, our transmission distribution in public ownership,. saving money, reinvesting that money back into the system. And we could also be using our natural resources for the benefit of people in this country. If you put all those things together, that gives governments some tools to work with.
