CHAPTER

Is There Evidence for the Existence of a Neural Network in the Brain?

Is there any evidence for these networks actually existing in the brain and layers of this processing happening in terms of structure? Well, it's very early days and this is very much a big question in research. I would say that there are hints of this and some structures like the default mode network are seen to be at the very top of this hierarchy. But exactly how it's fitting together, you know, that's going to be developed over the next few years I think.
