What It Means to Love Your Father and Mother?

In the previous episode, part three, we looked at what it actually means to love another person. What does it mean to honor one's father and mother? And i made two points here. Much of what you may think of as dishonoring your parents is oftentimes the beginning of a heart to do them good. Your desire to talk to your parents about some of the ways they have hurt you often comes from a longing for a deeper, more honest relationship with them. To love a wicked person to treat their cancer, is to be willing to burn, to cut, to poison.
