William Norville, a Lipscomb of the Revolutionary War

In 18 27, when billy was three, his grandfather, lipscombe norville, moved to nashville to be with the family. A lipscomb wound up having a profound impact on growing william. His war hero grandfather, his uncles were also major influences on his future life. Four of his uncles either founded or worked as editors at newspapers. Three more got involved with local international politics, and five served in the military.
