The Importance of Inventory in the Housing Market
I still have a big problem with the inventory that we have on the market. I'm finding a lot of markets as you dig into the MLS that there's inventory that isn't something that's mortgageable or it's just way out of any affordable price range. So while we have an increase of inventory from last year, we're still near a real all-time low and then I even question what we have as inventory. Just yesterday, we talked about that 300,000 dollar home going extinct. Go look at those numbers. They were astonishing. How many markets have just dropped 20 and 30 percent of new construction 300 or lower, 300,000 or lower priced homes available in the market
