The Gizzy Research Coaching Program helps aspiring and current UX researchers. This week, we look at the research behind New York State's EITC tax forms. The project was conducted by a team of three researchers who interviewed low income taxpayers to learn more about their journeys. We also found that they relied heavily on free tax prep services from community based organizations for help with understanding the code.
