How Do We Compare Ourself to Others?

When was the last time you compared yourself to some one else, or compared a situation to another situation? How did it make you feel? What were some of the predominant emotions that were present? I'm not saying that it will always be negative when we compare ourselves to others. But more often than not, the prangs of doubt and low self worh can arise quite quickly when our comparing mind is active. So as we head into this week end, i encourage you to try to notice when the comparing mind is present,. And rather than thinking about what could be better or different, see if you can focus on the experience itself.
