I think it's important to learn what things you feel so passionate about that you can turn around and say yes. My favorite book is how to be everything, by emily wopnick. For me, if i took all my passions, i would be a professional bowler slash tetrus player who also builds aps in his spare time and pod casts and shoots vidios all day. But that means i wouldn't have time to do all the great work that i do as a developer advocate or working with under represented groups.
