Heat Acclimate Training

Heat acclimate occurs when we are exposing the body to repeated heat which is sufficiently stressful. The greatest effects of heat acclimation protocols come in races in dry heat and the benefits are much smaller in humid climates. Simply living in a hot climate however does not provide a sufficient stimulus for optimal heat acclimate so that's we definitely need to take an active an active effort to to acclimate.
