Springhill Jack - Invulnerability to Bullets

There are no good records of springheel jack in 18 77 having talons. The talons probably were exactly what the newspapers said, they were clawed gloves. And jane alsop got a look at them and said they appeared to be made of metal. So nothing that would particularly indicate an alien, just a guy with metallic clawing gloves. Nowhere in available contemporary material is there any suggestion that bullets passed straight through the leaping terror.
