The market tried to react around this fraud as withdrawals stopped working at FTX. The creative ways people started doing this is first, you had an OTC market for inter FTX account transfers. Once they shut down intra account transfers, people figured out a way to use illiquid derivatives and trading algos in order to move money between accounts.
