Citizen Science - What Is It?
There's three types of citizen science. One is biometical research where people donate their samples and fill out questioners, but their participation ends at the clemic door. The next kind are citizen science with the people; they learn how to collect standard data in their communities. And then there's a third type that involves residents who help decide what changes should be made - such as putting crosswalks in front of schools or senior citizens' homes.
