How Do You Get Yourself Motivated When You're Unmotivated?

I think it really comes down to following the money trail. Your job as an editor is to be the protector of the director and the executor of the director's vision. You have to replace the director's ego, grab his ego and put it on yours. And you have to anticipate what they want, who they are and what they want their content to be. I've got to adopt there ego.
