I always felt like to white people I was, I represented something, this black person that to me I was just lanced. That's pretty much since he was seven or eight. My mother taught in the public schools in Baltimore and she did that for 40 years. But my dad was like, Pope's school's good enough for me but my mom kind of, she was the last word. So I always went to private school. And once I got to junior high and high school it was predominantly white, predominantly upper middle class. It was a very small, pro-kill school.
