The Importance of Waiting to Meet a Main Character
The movie is a really good argument for D.C. of delaying the introduction of a central character to create intrigue, to create tension. I also love how it reveals so much character that she doesn't ask one of the men to get her dress. She's she jumps right in after it. You know, they're already you're learning about this woman and what her values are and she just takes action. And about the world. It's really smart world building because we immediately realize she's not there's no expectation that they will help her. No one's again. There's this big empty house and it just draws out that introduction so long and creates so much intrigue and suspense around
