A big realignment that happened in how startups get off the ground is that it used to be the case where before all these tools, it was really hard to build the technology. Paul Graham had this arbitrage opportunity in 2005, where he identified that he could teach young technical people how to do business and that they could build enormous companies. And so what's changed over the past decade or so is that the cost of getting a company off the ground decreased rapidly. So everyone could ship a minimum of a product or beta or an early version of it for free or on there without raising money.
