The Lovely Thing About Friendship

Over the years, you find that the relationship advances along the axis of your mutual vunerability. And so the lovely thing about friendship is that it's constantly asking us to be forgiving both of the mistakes we make ourselves in the friendship. There's nothing as good for your own sanity when you're going through your own difficulties and especially people who start to hate themselves. So i've had a number of really, really close male friends through my life. I'm just at the stage in my life where i now have really, really good female friends too.
