I am obsessed with difference and divides, how we retain our ability to see each other as fully human across tribes. I think sometimes that those who are committed to overcoming difference or at least continuing to see the humanity of the person who opposes them. And this is why politics is, you know, it's hand-to-hand combat at some level. It's not just about tribes. But for whatever reason, we do have these really fundamentally different ways of seeing the world. Depending on kind of who runs the show, that vision will be realized.
