Are You Still Sleeping?
In Christian symbolism, sleep is always akin to what? Death. And so, Christ leaves the disciples below and he tells them to do what? He tells them to be attentive. I'll use that word instead. He says, watch. Be attentive. Stay awake. Don't be distracted. Right? In Christian symbolism,Sleep is always like death. The Son of Man is betrayed into the hands of the sinners. Rise. Let us be going. See my betrayer is at hand. This is based on human experience. It's not arbitrary because it's actually what, if you go higher you are, the closer you are to it.
