Considering Psychosocial Hazards in Incident Reviews

In this episode, host Dr. I. David Daniels will speak with Dr. Darryl C. Hill, responsible for Safety and Security in a company with nearly 60,000 employees in the U.S. and Canada, regarding his view on “Safety from the C Suite.” Often conversational about safety in general, and psychological health and safety specifically depend on the view of the person and their level of responsibility in the organization. While front-line workers may have greater exposure to certain hazards, no level of the organization is totally immune from the risk that results from psychosocial hazards. Also, the approaches to identifying, assessing, and mitigating hazards, including those of a psychosocial nature, will differ in focus and implementation.
