The majority of americans shouldn't plan to depend entirely on social security for retirement. For some, in addition to social security, they rely on a defined benefit pension plan. Other Americans have what we call a defined contribution plan or you've probably heard the term four o one k plan. Sounds more familiar, more capitalistic.
But somehow it got very scary.
