Joel Ellul: My chapter is called digital life as secular liturgy, a matter of Christian formation. He argues that we're being trained into a story about what life is to be and what it is to be human. And I argue that unfortunately the story tends to be one of industrialization,. That is a story that commodifies us, that dehumanizes us. Joel: Shouldn't we try to live into or adopt counter liturgies that will retrain us to live more fully into the story of the gospel?
