The Battle of the Protzan Heights
As the sun rose, the mists that shrouded much of the field began to slowly burn off. By around eight in the morning, the all important protsand heights finally came into view from napoleon's headquarters. Tens of thousands of coalition troops were moving off the heights, marching southwest to join the attack on the french. Right within an hour, as many as forty thousand coalition troops would be crammed into a small space between the french lines and swampy ground just behind the coalition lines. The fighting was so intense that after only an hour of battle, some of the line units were beginning to run low on ammunition.
