Is Twitter Going to Be KYC'd?
Twitter is charging $8 a month for 400,000 verified accounts. John Sutter: I wonder if they're not also propping up a model for verified accounts down the road to be KYC'd. He says that maybe doing the $8 charge in the beginning could be part of a strategy to weed out people. But on the topic of Twitter, he's noticed a lot of people jumping to Mastodon.
