Plastics - The Future of the Environment
Brain plastic was invented by indigenous people in central america about three thousand years ago or more. In the early twentieth century, scientists started inventing forms of synthetic plastic that's derived from fossil fuels like crude oil and natural gas. Synthetic plastic requires us to extract fossil fuels from the earth, which is a problem for the environment. According to an international standards organization, plastics accounted for two million tons of pollution in 19 50; in 20 20, it was about 400 million tons.
