Frick later on in life winds up being able to buy Morgan Mines because his cousin couldn't come up with the money. Next came the plan to build a 50,000 battery of Coke ovens called Beehive. Judge Thomas Mellon approached Frick wanting to finance the additional $10,000 that this ovens needed.
