The measurement that's proposed by the WTA here is a little bit more precise. They say that we can use a distance of 35 millimeters when we measure the largest air pocket. When you use the 35 millimeter cutoff it actually predicts success rate of around 90% which patients will be able to be observed successfully without drainage. It seems to be a good way to stratify your patients and this is gaining acceptance.
