The Real Power Isn't in the Elites, Right?

The real power doesn't lie with the elite, right? The elites hold an abstract power. They have the power of manipulating institutions and handling bureaucratic processes in a way that allows them to keep their power. But as conditions continue to deteriorate, which we know they will with catabolic collapse, there's definitely no reason not to believe that enough people could be swayed to kind of see that predicament and understand their power.
