The story is about an artist who has sex with his sister-in-law. He wakes up to find he's been painted all over in flowers and the authorities are coming. The man makes a dash for the balcony, as if maybe he's going to take his own life. But he finds himself rooted in place - "a plant like rooa, lower in a plant"
