Relationships Don't Work

Relationships can be powerful personal growth, says MacIntosh. But they are not meant to work in the way we think that they do. The unrealistic expectations we have of them is another one. We find somebody who has some of the worst traits of both our parents and pick them as a partner because it gives us an opportunity to work out dad issues or mum issues.
