The Role of POCUS in Early Diagnosis of Cardiogenic Shock
The most common way that I see this EKG is actually during a stress test. If you have a left-mainstin and you're cutting off somewhere between 60 to 100 percent of the myocardial blood supply to the heart, these are those patients who will come into the ED circling the drain. To me, POCUS is going to be the biggest thing. I think it's a phenomenal tool in the early diagnosis of a lot of these presentations.
