With Watchmen hitting the comics industry like such a bomb, I am surprised so few people have tried to incorporate their own version of a pirate comic in their comic. It's one of those things that probably is like a lot of writers kind of put off as like more trouble than it's worth. "Watchmen" has a really big reputation for its nine-panel grid structure. People have been apping it ever since.
